    I have cooked them poached. But i add just a little water and stir it up. Then i add soft cheese to melt it in while i stir it. It kind of like a scrambled egg with cheese in it, but poached.

    Wow he really messed up grilling the salmon. Mine is never burnt like that and rare in the middle. My favorite way to say salmon is grilled over charcoal.

    The buried salmon one is actually a pretty traditional Maōri way (New Zealand) way of cooking food, called a Hāngi. Chuck in some veges, fish, or even chicken. My favourite is when kumara is cooked in there (sweet potato)

    Nowadays that's a great way to make gravlax. I do that every now and again. super tasty. There is the traditional way though, where the dish gets its name. Gravlax literally means grave salmon in Swedish. The old method is to prepare, and then actually bury the fish. Presumably in something that keeps the dirt out? I'm not sure haha. This was a way of preserving food before refrigeration. I'd love to see that attempted!

    The way Amiel caught that salmon at 0:17 was amazing It's like how the guys do it in Seattle. Farm salmon is never the best guest to use for cooking. You would rather want to use a sockeye or a king salmon which are amazing fish and even better if they come straight out of Alaska. Also another way to cook a fish is the dishwasher, my dad does it that way with Halibut

    Salmon Tip: Marinade (find a recipe that sounds good online) your salmon for at least 6 hours, this helps keep it moist if you're going to broil or grill it.

    Wound't the high fat content in the the dried salmon go rancid though? Doesn't seem like a good way to preserve fish to me, better to just freeze it.
