This was recommended after I searched how to fry potatoes. I don't exactly have a snake in my pantry to go with them though.

This was a cool video typifying a real live off the land pioneer attitude. I know this is nit picking, but the cast iron skillet/dutch oven really needs to be lightly oiled between uses to prevent rusting and pitting. Really enjoyed the video.

People in the south eat anything. Some things are not meant to go in your mouth. I think some people would eat their own shit and put sprinkles on it

Tbh, i just don't want to ever try that. But i mean, if i was, i would have cut it up in smaller pieces. And flipped it over and got the eggwash on the other side to get it to stick better. To each his own though! Dude is pretty cool frying up rattle snakes!

You never meantioned to make sure that you cut the head off the snake. Even after the snake is dead, you can accidentally get hit with a fang and it is very easy to get snake bit and poisoned. It Is very easy to get bit especially during the first 12 to 24 hours because the snakes nervous system can often still seem like it's alive. A person that is experienced knows the safety precautions to take but unfortunately more times than not the public is not all that bright when it comes to Common Sense stuff. I live in Arizona and though I have never personally caught, killed and prepared a rattlesnake myself oh, I have had it many times from buddies of mine. When I was a kid I also worked with a snake breeder so I was fortunate enough to learn the do's and don'ts when it comes to snakes and especially highly venomous snakes. You got to treat them with the utmost respect
